well done 4i! without junliang and gerrard, we still managed to earn our place in the finals. so dun worry about the loss. u guys were absolutely great.
our semi-final match against 4j was a thriller. after a goalless draw at extra time, it came down to penalties. after the first cycle, it was 2-2, with siang huat producing a hell lot of incredible saves to deny 4j. my god, he can read the player's movement lor. si en scored twice for us, coz of some stupid organization prob. in a real penalty shoot-out, u choose ur best 8 to take the penalty, but 4j not happy coz chin yang, as a sub who played in the match, took one of the spot-kicks. so when we cycled our first team, 4j still had one more player. then everyone kao bei. lolz. so it was decided that we can recycle one of our players for the 2nd cycle. so si en took it, coolly.
2nd cycle. si en took again. again 4j kao bei, coz this would be si en's third kick. but who cares, coz si en's shot was saved by maggi mee. siang huat did well to deny a shot, then he took the spot kick and CONVERTED IT! oh my god everyone was like hugging siang huat coz he was really the MAN!
finals was against 4b, as expected. we were doing well, until ming xue threw the ball to keeper pathy. it was a big big mistake, coz as pathy tried to clear, khairul came in and sent the ball rolling into the goal.
1-0.
everyone was very angry and upset because it's the kind of goals which u should not concede. nvm. siang huat tried to bring them together and focus. but just a few minutes later, ashvin came charging down the left flank and the ball was rolling quickly towards pathy. again pathy tried to clear with his feet when he should have dived. so a miskick led to a 2nd goal.
in the end. 2-0. we were damn disapppointed, sitting on the ground and stoning. when we played 4b in the group stages, it was 2-0. now finals, 2-0. argh. but i still think the class have done well, coz last yr we didn't even make it this far. perhaps with junliang with us our attack would have been more formiddable and gerrard would keep things tidy at the back. but no, luck just wasn't on our side and we have to accept it.

before soccer match, we had ss module on terrorism. guess who's our teacher? guess guess. AGUSS! LMAO!
wei han and i brought guns to pose for the inter-house photo comp. couldn't do the raffles bust and bob koh's car ones coz the place was hoarded up for today's celebrations. so we assaulted the junior block instead.
