watched bbc's the human face for philo today, in prep for dialogue observation topic "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". i think i watched it before, but only remember vaguely. so watching it 2nd time was just as interesting.
omg the golden ratio is 1 : 1.618 is so imba. and those triangles which are supposed to shape your face. the triangles fit PERFECTLY on tom cruise's face. sick! then when they test on the show host, they don't fit. oh my..
after philo everyone started measuring each other's facial features to see our ratio. quite funny. jun da, whom many ppl think is quite good looking, got a 1.3. wth. that's how far off ah. tee yong and i got 1.7. LOL. but i dun care abt it la, most prob got some calc errors, and for now the only figures which are important are grades. -.- but jun han's one is definitely correct - according to zhikai it's less than 1.1. erps. i dun want to be bad la, but the awful truth cannot be denied.
aft sch - inforcom club agm. stupid bunch of political bastards. kevin and i just slacked off at the comps while those assholes gave their speeches. my god the new chairman is like..argh..dunno wad to say la. and for the first time i see so many sec 1s and 2s. all so enthu. i think when they go to sec 3 about half will drop out already, just like wad happened to our batch.
after koping some so-so food from buffet, went to times at centrepoint to find veronika decides to die. can u believe that borders and kinokuniya sold out. man that book must be how mother popular. WTH MAN TIMES SHRUNK TO 1/4 ITS ORIGINAL SIZE?!! times used to take up the whole of one side of the 4th level. now 3/4 has been taken up by CRYSTAL JADE GINSENG KITCHEN and GRAMOPHONE. wth la. went inside anyway. well they had the other books by paulo coelho but dun have wad i wanted. shit. so last resort was to go to national library and BORROW. >.< i borrowed another coelho book just to make my trip worthwhile, and i found the sandman book of dreams.
hopefully i will have time to read. tues is chi prelims. argh. ya-huei-the-man damn funny today la. she said she want to make a deal with us. if all of us pass prelims, she treat us to chocolate. if half the class get distinction, she treat us to SOMETHING BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE. LOL! so i shouted "chocolate biscuit" ( in chinese la ).
wa lau im watching the walkthrough for test drive unlimited. shit la, this game is so uber leet. sexy. beautiful. it's the ultimate racing game. but i dunno whether i should get in on xbox 360 ( if my dad agrees to buy ) or pc. if i buy pc i can play online but xbox 360 graphics will be much better, esp on the plasma. then splinter cell double agent's limited edition has some pretty cool stuff. a documentary about being a covert operative and also interview with voice actor for sam fisher, michael ironside. I WANT! i shall remind myself to get willy to pre-order for me.
