went for gameaxis's "rockstar presents table tennis" competition. got serious whooping by the other players. firstly the game is not easy to play, somehow my player's reaction time quite slow compared to the rest. secondly, i've nvr played the game before. thirdly, the rest of the guys there were pro gamers.
we have the wcg guy who won the doa competition, his clan partner, a girl gamer whom i forgot her name, and danny who is the clan leader of ragefaction. i met him in the lift on the way to the 21st floor, and he doesn't look or talk like a gamer - more educated la, u get what i mean. well turns out he works at sony bmg music.
so yeah, got whooped. the match for the pioneer sound system saw two malay guys play against each other. wtf la, im sure so tyco, the microsoft manager randomly draw lots and dio the malay guys. den the winner say he dun have xbox 360, so win the system oso wasted. den microsoft changed the prize to xbox 360 for him. wtf, so pro?
btw microsoft's auditorium was damn nice. we played the matches on projector screens. got a table tennis t-shirt and a xbox 360 gamer tag, haha. ismet and i discussed about having a talk in ri about game development and gaming. we agreed that after the exams would be a good time.
