i walked all the way from orchard to suntec today. yup, from mrt station to paragon, den taka ( yea shld have been the other way round, but u'll soon find out why i did so ), den plaza sing, den woots, no stopping to suntec! and i din use the city link to go to suntec, which was a good idea coz that route was jammed with ppl going to the it show - even the overhead bridge was jammed. >.<
ok so why i walked? coz tdy my phone died again, and i was so freakin pissed i decided to go and check the prices for samsung d900 and z720, which are pretty much the same phones just that the latter has 3.5g. i tot the d900 was still in the market so i went to paragon m1 first, coz im m1 customer, den found out d900 phased out liao. so went to taka singtel, oso dun have. den im like, im ser d900 imba phone den no one selling. so i went to plaza sing to check out the samsung shop. and ps is like how near, so walk lor. yup they still sell the d900, $368 with plan. and surprisingly the z720 is only like $30 more ex? but it's singtel so not really enticing. den since dhoby ghaut is like HOW NEAR to city hall, so walk some more lor. yar, near for mrt, but not for the legs. but heck, it's nice to walk long distances by yourself once in a while. so had lunch at suntec - it was close to 3pm alrdy i think, den went to check out simply toys and saw 3 storm troopers guarding the place! only managed to take a photo of one of them though, who kindly posed for me. if only i had a friend with me den can pose with him. haiz.
den checked out the phone prices. some m1 dealer selling d900 for 368 with 2yr plan, but must complete 20yrs to upgrade and my contract only 14mths old. my dad's the closest - 19mths if im not wrong but he oso want to change his nokia 6230 which deserves a spanking replacement. but my dad also has an 02 mini, just that he dunno how to use. so maybe if i sweet talk a bit i can use his contact to upgrade. ( btw my current samsung phone is oso under his line one. XP )
den another shop was selling the d900 without contract for 438 with 24yrs instalment, which was quite cheap. can consider i think.
but i think in the end my mum would be telling me to wait until price drop or sth. i still dunno whether to get the d900 or z720. d900 has 3.15mp camera. z720 has 3mp. z720 has 38mb in-built memory but d900's 65mb. and coz z720 is 3.5g, so got the 2nd camera, which is easier to take face shots =P. haiz. really don't know leh.
den went to raffles city to walk around before my mum picked me up. saw this nice shape formed by the clouds above the hotel.
had a look at billabong shirts and saw two collar ones, one long sleeve and one short sleeve. both quite nice, but v ex >.< den the donut factory shop at the marketplace had such a long queue. damn bomb. i think most of them are the owner's friends posing only one lor.
the sign reminds ppl not to cut the queue, coz it was separated by a walkway.
the end of the queue. sry cannot take from the front or else the ppl there confirm not happy one.
so as u can see. i 1) like to take photos, 2) take a lot of photos with my phone, 3) post the photos i take. which clearly explains why i need a better camera phone, so that i no need to lug my camera around.
