Job summary:
Editorial Interns are responsible for general day-to-day writing and footage-capturing duties for use in video-related features. Daily tasks include writing and publishing daily content including (but not limited to) news, features, previews and reviews.

A highly dynamic, fast-paced environment that demands strong communication skills. IGN produces content on an hourly basis, so deadlines and needs vary. The editorial department offers experience working with one of the most popular websites in the world.
Summary of essential job functions:
Writing daily channel-specific content including (but not limited to) news, features, previews and reviews; reporting on industry-related events; Capturing, compressing, and publishing videogame clips; direct contributions towards video features.
Minimum requirements:
Superior communication skills; knowledge about videogames; ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines; understanding of editorial principles; familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, and basic HTML and video capturing skills.
Student must have the ability to receive course credit for their internship.
Student must hold Junior or Senior Status.
