i got the class msg tdy that our ct mr chan will not be present on the day to give us our results.

so i guess we have run out of choices for a teacher who teaches a common subject for my rojak class.

actually i wouldnt want to hear chan talk either. i reckon it would make me feel even worse.
but i think i would fall asleep while collecting my results slip this time.
she's definitely gg to be looking at my bio score.
i dunno what to expect.
i prob wont fail it this time tho.

it's going to be a v long and agonising wait for ur turn at the table of truth from 2.30pm.
the first person in the class register always gets the goodies first. good luck to u if ur in the second half of the class.
dos and don'ts when collecting the results slip:
wait in line. don't cut queue. i know ur eager to see 5As on the paper. but dun make us wait any longer to seal our fate yeah.
don't talk abt the results. everyone's nervous enough alr. instead talk abt beautiful things like the weather, even if it rains - wait rain is a bad omen, scrap that. okay there're other things to catch up on since this is the first time u've seen ur classmates in 3 mths?
watch out for the look on the face of the classmate before u. if he/she isn't smiling, be nice and don't bother asking abt the outcome. he/she is prob too depressed to talk to u abt them.
what u shld do when it's ur turn depends on what results ur expecting.
some conversation starters:
>> m'am if i got 5As give me a five!
>> m'am don't talk to me unless i got retained.
>> how much did the guy in front of me get?
and the v awesome conversation terminator as suggested by my friend:
>> hi student A...
sshh m'am, just put the slip inside my file here... kthxbai.
naturally the hall is going to be a v noisy place, mostly filled with joy. there's not much room for sorrow, and emo ppl arent really welcome at a celebration.
so we go find a quiet spot, away from hell, to search our soul.
but just when u thought u had the world to urself..
"teet teet! teet teet!"

and u reply saying u didnt do well.

another friend. same reply.
and the msgs keep coming. the msg tone becomes so irritating; ur too depressed to talk anyone anymore; u become so worked out u throw ur phone away.
and then when u finally wake to ur senses u realise ur prada phone is now a few pieces of plastic.
how to prevent this situation?
switch off ur phone.
if u feel that this is ur last chance to be acknowledged by ur friends and shldnt cut urself from the rest of the world, then i have a suggestion for u.
to prevent endless typing on the keyboard which makes u even more depressed, use codewords to describe the situation.
simple words that are easy to type yet absolutely comprehensible, and won't hurt u too much as well.
using positive words to sub disastrous results like teddy bear, twinky winky or super mario can help suppress ur feelings.
of course u need to inform ur friends in advance abt this rule.
so when a msg comes:
>> hey how did u do?
and u had alr told him the codeword for say no As at all, u could reply
>> puppy
it has aboslutely no relevance to the situation and tt's the point of this exercise - it prevents u from slipping into a deeper emotional abyss.
when everyone has gotten their results, discussions abt where to go will begin.
im not sure if u will have the mood to go and erm 'celebrate'.
but being the sporting guy i am, i will still chip in to the discussion.
