if ur really, really stressed out over this agonising wait to friday, here's something to cheer u up.
http://www.rjc.edu.sg/new/attachment/RJC%20College%20Day%20Report%202007-2008.pdfgo to page 37, where there is a detailed table showing the statistics of last year's a levels. some of us might have seen it alr, but not long enough to make some calculations. now u can calc ur predicted grades.
by right the best exam to gauge against is the prelims but the results slip didnt contain the percentiles, so use ur ct2 one then.
see where ur percentile falls in the table and u can roughly estimate ur predicted grade.
of course it is not entirely accurate because it does not factor in the pressure of having to do separate papers for each subject, the chance of u running out of ink or having to put up with a certain annoying girl who just can't behave in the exam hall.
but it gives u hope.
a big, bright ray of hope.
dun believe me? my predicted grades using ct2 are abbcd.
which exceeds my current expectations alr.
so if ur feeling nervous, just go to page 37 of the college day report.
on the big day, there's nth much u can do.
other than pray.
and pack a few boxes of kleenex.
u will collect ur batch sweater and if it comes with a hood, wear it immediately.
u will want to cover ur face.
there're some things that i havent done since graduation and would like to do on friday.
set fire to the f.i.r.e wall at the watermelon steps.
launch a coke-mentos rpg.
draw eyes on the raffles bust.
tell the stall 4 uncle his food really sucks.
it will be a bittersweet nostalgic wait till 2.30.
and u realise u nvr rly spent ur 2 yrs in school well.
actually playing soccer would be a good idea because chasing after the damn ball will instantly take ur mind off worrying and regretting.
but the field is just beside the mph.
hmm.
oh, how abt we make some reservations at shang-ri la nxt door.
cherry garcia..
