surprise surprise, we were actually q early at the airport.
though due to my over-confidence tt i was very much prepared i forgot to bring my camera batt charger which was just a metre away from where i usually sit in my study.
luckily it lasted for most of the trip, until before entering narita departure hall.
can somebody tell me why the a380 girls are middle-aged women?
i see alr until damn sian can.
plus the seats are damn screwed up. they are so straight, there's no cushioning, the head rest is positioned wrongly. it's like sitting on a stool with ur back against a wall decorated with wallpaper.
even the 747 seats were much more comfortable on the way home.
but then the a380 screen is much bigger and better, the software they're using is a new one, so it's easier to navigate. and u can connect ur ipod to the screen too!
so almost a year on from my previous trip, i still know my away around.
as usual i was leading my folks around.
as usual the jap girls and women are so much better-looking than the erm, people, here. even if they apply make-up they don't look like they're going for a wayang performance.
and the ahem black stockings. wow.
damn sian i din have the balls to ask to take a photo with anyone of them.
as usual the kids are so bloody cute with their rosy cheeks.
as usual everyone's so polite.
as usual there're problems communicating.
but refer to point above so everything's still alright.
i actually feel guilty of not buying anything when i enter a shop.
like the burberry black label salesguy who was so helpful but in the end my mum din allow me to buy a $170 wallet when she herself bought a blu label bag thereafter.
so im back, feeling hungry, having a really bad sore throat and a slightly blocked nose, and feeling bloody sian.
im going to hell very very soon.
fuck man.
photos on facebook soon. it's taking damn long to transfer them from my memory card to my comp - i used up the 2gb memory.
actually i need a real holiday.
not some trip where im the guide and spend half the time waiting for my mum to finish her shopping.
did i mention abt the walking?
i dunno how much distance i've covered, but every night when i return to the hotel my legs are aching.
plus it's like 10+ degrees, in spring.
when the japs wear jackets, u know it's bloody cold.
dun believe the news abt japan having a recession - the shopping spirit is v healthy.
and north korea launched a rocket on sunday wth.
oh boy if i had learnt jap last time, i would have felt so much at home.
now i need to acclimatise to screwed up weather and rude people.
cherry garcia..
