the service line is definitely not an easy career.

imagine having to say the same things over and over again, without showing any signs of frustration or fatigue.

>> macs cashier: hi sir, welcome to mcdonald's.

>> what drink would u like? any upsize?

these ppl have to do tt almost everyday.

they do tt for a living.

me, i was more of obliged.

my day starts at 5.

i reach my workplace at 7, and sleep until the first customers arrive around 9.

>> me: hi sir, take a seat here.

>> place ur right hand on the grip and support w ur left hand here. look through the scope. do u see the tank?

>> try to lock on to one of them.

things would be v easy if the missile was fired when they pressed the button, if they actually pressed it.

but no, 7 out of 10 ppl couldn't fire without me troubleshooting.

the irritating part is tt they had alr been taught how to operate the spike before coming to my station.

yet in less than 30 seconds they forget everything.

so i have to go through the entire teaching process again.

and of course be nice to them.

no i can't smack their heads for not using at least a bit of their brains.

after spending 5 mins teaching them the sequence of pressing buttons w their fingers, they can't get a lock on.

some of them get frustrated and give up on themselves.

don't say i din give them another chance.

>> don't worry sir, let's go through the motion again.

tt's another 5mins of my life wasted.

and im still smiling.

barely.

and i've come to the conclusion that 90% of singaporeans are really stupid.

because they don't know which is their index finger.

>> sir release ur index finger and press again?

>> hah what finger?

so i tap their index finger.

>> this finger.

they wiggle their ring finger.

>> this one ah?

>> no.

i have no choice but to use force.

i have to pry open their grip to get their finger out.

but somehow they just grip the handle even harder.

someone bring me a hammer please.
