one wk on frm my birthday, here's what i had intended to write, but somehow got drowned by the excitement that is mw2.

firstly, thanks to everyone who had wished me.

at i least i still exist in ur world.

but prob not in that of many other ppl.

ppl whom i call friends.

the same ppl who've prob become just another name in a digital contact list.

it's interesting how some ppl actually bother to wish me when im guilty of not talking to them in a long while.

but again, im guilty of not rem birthdays myself.

so i feel v v touched when ppl actually turned up on sat.

esp those who came late. there was no real need to rush down.

thanks.

thank u for actually planning to do a surprise, which sadly ultimately failed.

blame obama.

got a couple of interesting birthday wishes, and here's my favourite for this yr.

>> happy birthday, hope u find a nice girlfriend soon.

thank u v much buddy, but soon is out of the qn.

19 isn't a big shout of a number, unlike 18 or 21 or 50.

but hell it's rly been a long road traveled.

one yr ago on my birthday i was scribbling historic ink on foolscap paper.

3 yrs ago i got back my report card.

8 years ago i was playing pokemon cards in class.

i think i did.

can u believe how fast time has passed?

back in those days comps were running win98. now it's win7.

when ur parents were 19, they longed for walkmans.

now we just ask for ipods and we get em.

i'd spent my birthday reflecting on these 19 yrs, besides saving the world from russian ultranationalists, and i think some change is needed.

i need to stop wanting the best.

looking at how dependent i am on my parents to support my cravings for all the high-tech gear, it scares me how i can actually forget abt living such a comfortable life in the future.

esp when im prob not gg to get a high-paying job.

unlike friends who are potential doctors and lawyers and businessmakers.

so i dunno how im gg to survive nxt time when i cant keep up w the pace of technology.

perhaps i wont even own a car.

to me it's nothing less than a 3 series.

i guess it's time to be a bit more practical.

no more unnecessary spending.

but hang on, i just got a friend to buy assassin's creed 2 for me.

this will be a v difficult mission to undertake.

much worse than trying to take back the white house from russians.

before i end, once again thank u to all who didn't forget.

now im sitting in a corner playing with my fingers and thinking abt those who did.

i dun rly care, actually.

but i just feel stupid, aft the things tt i had done for some.
