today i will share with u how to pluck a flower.

most of the time, we pick a flower based on the colour. brightly-coloured flowers tend to attract our attention.

but beware, colours may be misleading.

a beautiful flower may turn out to be one of two types.

it's either a pure sweet-smelling flower who aims only to please u, like a rose, or one that's deceptively beautiful, like adonis.

these poisonous flowers exist in two types.

those tt kill instantaneously, and those which torture u for a period of time before u succumb to it.

let's talk abt the latter.

some give u a nasty rash which you can't scratch off - only ur skin falls, leaving u scarred.

others, like opium, keep u hooked while at the same time slowly suck ur soul away until ur nothing but a lifeless lump.

but when ur gone, they still live, affecting new owners.

therefore always be wary of any unknown flowers u may encounter in ur garden. do not always assume that beautiful flowers are safe.

vice versa, we tend to ignore flowers which aren't attractive. small, plain or dull coloured and not fragrant.

but these flowers sometimes bring the most gains.

look at the orange flower for example. it looks ordinary with 5 white petals. but when it's pollinated it turns into a nice juicy fruit which we all love.

beautiful flowers may also turn out to be harder to cultivate.

a lot of resources are required to keep them alive and pretty. u need to constantly water them and expose them to the right amount of sunlight and temperature.

the entire process of nurturing the flower is taxing.

even so there is no guarantee they would stay that way forever.

sometimes even with ur entire life devoted to the flower, it withers off and ur left with nothing.

remember that flowers have a limited lifespan.

choose a flower which will last u a lifetime, not for the moment of pleasure.

true gems, like the sakura, only bloom for a certain period of time.

u might have to wait for a long while before you can find one.

do u have the patience, or are u willing to dumb down for a less-beautiful flower?

some lucky ppl actually stumble upon beautiful flowers in the most unexpected places.

whether they know how to nurture them is another thing.
